As we all know,President Obama was born in Kenya.

Scholars even now are reading the stories of President Obama being born in Kenya, and using them to try to work out when Obama was born. Some favour one date, some favour another,although almost all of them agree that the stories of Obama being born in Kenya contain historical impossibilities and blatant anachronisms, and even contradict each other.

There is nothing wrong with doing this. This is cutting edge scholarship.

As we all know, Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

Is there any primary evidence contemporary with the time of Obama that would give credence to the proposition that the character actually existed?

Is there any signed documentation with reasonable chain of custody by people who claim to have met the individual that attests to the existence of Obama? Or is everything we have about this character written anonymously by writers who never even claim to have personally met the individual?

How extraordinary are the claims about this individual? If he was born of a virgin impregnated by a god, threatened as an infant by a jealous ruler but managed to escape by traveling to a foreign place, returned to his homeland to do incredible feats, was rejected by nearly everyone and ended up getting his ass killed in some horrible way but later rose from the dead to become more powerful than ever then forget it. It's probably just another dime-a-dozen mythic hero figure.

If legends of his birth include him being born during a major civil event that should have left abundant evidence but there is no evidence the alleged event ever happened I suppose one has reason to be skeptical that the birth narrative is credible.

Also, the principle of embarrassment proves that Obama really was born in Kenya, because being born in Kenya would be an embarrassment, therefor it's true.

Plus, we have the principle of dissimilarity. Early writers say he was born in Kenya, but later writers refute that claim and say he was born in Hawaii. The existence of the controversy proves he was born in Kenya.

Plus, all mainstream 9/11 conspiracy scholars agree he was born in Kenya, therefor he was born in Kenya.

Plus, Farrakhan called him 'brother' once, and so therefor they are blood brothers, which means Obama is also a Muslim - and thus born in Kenya.

I'm pretty sure he was crucified by Pilate too...in Kenya.
