Sorry if i got the spelling wrong.. i was just wondering who he was seen as from a historical perspective.. i know some people seem to say some nasty things about him as to discredit the religion he was a prophet of.
I am not asking for proof, denial or aknoledgement that he was or was not a prophet.. just historically what was he known as? The historical Muhamed, does anyone here have any ideas? Thank you -Lavis |

Not to prove, (As i was never aware the existance of the particular man was in doubt..)
but rather to tell me what he was like from a historical perspective. Thank you -Lavis |

Here is some rather serious skepticism on whether there was a historical Mohammed and what he was like.

The religious and secular notions of Muhammad be particularly different? He was just a prophet and he forged the Arabs into a single nation under Allah. Like so many other prophets have done, he did it for the Arabs.
