We have a huge collection of writings from this period. What if we dump this invention "New Testament" and look at all these writings equally?

What picture emerges?

It is as if the microscope we are using is stuck with araldite on a few parts of a huge picture, and we are refusing to look at the rest of the picture.

Those stories of Jesus as a child - why not give them equal weight to our socially constructed new testament?
