Default bad timing for miracles

does anyone have any idea why jesus had such bad timing when it came to miracles surely poppin himself off the cross in front of hundreds romans
would have done more to confirm his divinity than multiplying bread and fish

The bread and fish thing is a metaphor for a shoal of whales a huge bakery with its staff working overtime

Can we move the topic of this thread in the direction of Existence of Gods?

Anyway in Christian theology the whole purpose of Jesus' life is to be crucified for mankind's sins. In Matthew 26:53 he tells one of his disciples he could easily defend himself if he wanted to.

Of course, in Mark, Jesus is not trying to prove his divinity to the world - he tries to hide it. He does miraculous healing and instructs people not to tell anyone. It appears that he only wants to demonstrate his divinity to his select group of followers, in order to inspire them to convert the world. Or at least that is their story.
