bad timing for miracles
does anyone have any idea why jesus had such bad timing when it came to miracles surely poppin himself off the cross in front of hundreds romans
would have done more to confirm his divinity than multiplying bread and fish |

Of course, in Mark, Jesus is not trying to prove his divinity to the world - he tries to hide it. He does miraculous healing and instructs people not to tell anyone. It appears that he only wants to demonstrate his divinity to his select group of followers, in order to inspire them to convert the world. Or at least that is their story.
