Sorry, all the discussion of it made me think that it had already been broadcast.

Penn and Teller are both extremely hardcore atheists, so much so that they avoid hanging out and even working with religious people. When Penn announced the Bible episode at the James Randi "Amazing Meeting" in January, he joked that it was hard to fit all the bullshit in the Bible into a single half hour episode.
I was at a party that Teller was at last night. I didn't ask him about the upcoming Bible episode, but learned that some of the creationists from last year's creationism episode are contemplating suing Showtime because they were "made fun of too much". I look forward to this week's episode. THOUGHTfully Yours, Clark |

I thought P&T's show slightly amusing when it first aired but I was never into hearing someone being called names for their beliefs. Not exactly a show to foster good feelings other than if you want to reinforce your beliefs against a group of people that don't share your views. If you think that calling people names is reasoned debate, then I guess this show is for you. I stopped watching them after the anti-anti-smoking show.
What exactly are any of you expecting to get out of the upcoming show other than to reinforce your beliefs that Bible believers are idiots? |
