IamJoseph hobbyhorse ride and preaching split from Guards at the Tomb

The historical fact is, aside from whatever many like to believe, there was a sacrifice by 1.2 M Jews in defense of their right to their own belief. That this is not recorded in the Gospel signifies it was written many centuries later - or worse, that the Gospels commited the greatest lie-by-omission in all recorded history. There was no other sacrifce here: please tell me how Jesus could have saved himself from Rome's decree - would he have bowed to a Roman emperor's image and denounced the Jews - because nothing else would save him? The only factual OPEN resurrection which occured was that of Israel in '48, as prophesized 3000 years ago in hard copy writ. And those who villfied the Jews in their scriptures are very upset - they have a very selective notion of prophesy and resurrection! :banghead: |

side note response since this topic is tangential. Jesus could have saved himself from Rome's decree and chose not to. His sacrifice made good on God's promise to Abraham to bless all nations through him (Gen 12). You are preaching to the choir on Ezekiel's prophecy and I have nothing but awe and joy over it and look forward to the day when Jesus, like Joseph dismisses the gentiles and reveals himself to his brothers. ~Steve |
