Biblical cyber paintings
I have started a series of Biblically based cyber paintings to show my view of Jesus and his disciples as money grubbing con men.
At http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/AlbumList?u=4187799&f=0 To access these images click on "Biblical images". The latest image is "Jesus feeds the multitude" in which I show my version of how the trick of the multiplication of the fish and the loves of bread was accomplished. |

Interesting pictures....but I don't think we need to logically come up with a reason for why something like the water into wine happened, when there is no other evidence that it did. The question is whether or not Jesus is this "Son of God" and not whether or not he used tricks to make people believe.

Matrioshka Brain :
Jesus and the magic of the NT, could be a complete literary fabrication, but I find it likely that there was an HJ and that he was a very a grandiose, theatrical magician/con-man. I think that it is possible that the huckster was the real Jesus and that the philosopher of the Sayings Gospel Q was pasted in to make him sound worthy of worship. There are many modern examples of this sort of criminal and I think that this kind of professional charlatan has been with us for thousands of years. There is no reason to think that Benny Hinn is not a true representative of the historical Jesus. I think that Sai Baba is another modern example of this type divine fraud. Even if Jesus was a fictitious literary invention I think that the powers that he displays in the NT were all part of the repertoire of the magicians of that time. Rowdy: I don't think that there is a question about "whether or not Jesus is this "Son of God"". There is a question about whether he existed or not. If he existed and if he was a wonder worker, then we have to look at modern wonder workers to find out what wonder workers are like. |
