Name ONE.

So far, none have been forthcoming...

Well, "prophecies about a scattering of the Jews" made AFTER the return from the Babylonian Exile would be a good start.

What a pity you still can't provide one.

The Jews in restoring their nation in 1948 encountered enormous resistence which has produced 4 wars and international Terrorism that revolves around the land of Israel and Jerusalem. This dispute has caused the U.N. to be quite hostile to Israel so much so that Israel does not trust it. These nations are seeking to diminish Israel's territory and to snatch Jerusalem from out of their hands. Sugar can you please explain then why a Muslim Masque stands on the temple mount? Does this then lend more credence to Muslim claims in the holy land? Why have the jews not built there temple on the mount? So gods words aren't true since a Muslim masque stands instead of a Jewish temple. So from this we can determine that there is more evidence in ALLAH then the Jewish god.

Are you saying that no group of people who believe that a false prophecy is true are able to make the prophecy come true? You not obviously not aware that all that it takes to make a prophecy come true is the belief that it is true, and enough military power to make it come true, and in the case of the Partition of Palestine, a vote by the majority of the countries in the U.N. who voted for the partition. Of the 33 governments that voted for the partition, 32are Christian governments. Of the 13 governments that voted against the partition 12 are non-Christian governments. The only government that voted against the partition that is not non-Christian is the Greek government, which is nominally Christian. Are you going to tell us that the Bible did not have anything whatsoever to do with the vote?

If Bible prophecy is true without a doubt, then everyone would be a Christian. That is obviously not the case. If a God exists, it is obvious that it is not his intention to convince anyone believe that he can predict the future. If it was, he would have made many indisputable prophecies. As it is, the Bible does not have one single indisputable prophecy. An example of an indisputatable prophecy would be a prophecy that predicted when and where a natural diaster would occur, month, day, and year. Why doesn't the Bible have any prophecies like that?

Micah 5:2 says “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” If Micah had predicted that the messiah would rule a heavenly kingdom instead of an earthly kingdom like Micah misled the Jews to believe, and had predicted that the messiah would heal people, and that the messiah would be crucified, buried, and rise from the dead in three days, and that Pontius Pilate would become the Roman governor of Palestine, and that Herod would become the King of Judea, there are not any doubts whatsoever that more Jews would have accepted Jesus, not to mention a lot more non-Jews. Historically, many people have accepted all kinds of outlandish religions based upon a lot less convincing evidence than the hypothetical scenario that I mentioned. In addition, Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce attracted a lot of followers based upon a lot less convincing evidence than the hypothetical scenario that I mentioned.

God also promised the Hebrews he would make them a great and mighty nation. It's people as countless as the stars in the heavens. What is the population of Israel today?
Certainly not the countless millions they were promised. Then there is in their most sacred spot in Jerusalem, a shrine not to their god, but to Allah. [ The dome of the rock]
So all in all, the Jews really received a raw deal from god.

If that is your god, you are more than welcome to him/her/it. I want no part of it.
The question of why Evil exists in the world is a difficult question.

Quote:
And when ye may see Jerusalem surrounded by encampments, then know that come nigh did her desolation; 21 then those in Judea, let them flee to the mountains; and those in her midst, let them depart out; and those in the countries, let them not come in to her; 22 because these are days of vengeance, to fulfil all things that have been written. 23 'And woe to those with child, and to those giving suck, in those days; for there shall be great distress on the land, and wrath on this people; 24 and they shall fall by the mouth of the sword, and shall be led captive to all the nations, and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by nations, till the times of nations be fulfilled.

No it's not. It is exactaly as it should be in a godless, survival of the fittest universe.

No exactly, God foreknew that evil would exist in the world thus he established the Nation of Israel to give birth to his prophets, write his Torah, and eventually bring his Son into the world. Israel continues to exist to this very moment as a testament that ultimately good will triumph over evil (yes, I know that sounds corny as hell).
