Lightbulb What it Means to be a Christian

In my opinion, being a Christian means :

1] you no longer deal with the head man directly, but ask for intervention in Christ's name. If you insist on dealing with the CEO on a one -to-one basis, you are not a Christian;

2]you follow Christ's teachings, not by just talking the talk but by walking the walk. If you fail to follow Christ's teachings, you are not a Christian.

The Nicean Creed is irrelevant to me. Yet it was written to determine who belonged to the faithfull.

Your opinions are welcomed.

Question

It would really help me if you took a minute to explain why it doesn't belong here instead of screaming at me.

Biblical Criticism & History
Discuss biblical text and history to challenge and illuminate the stories therein.
Most of your posts belong in:
"General Religious Discussions
Discuss anything about religion, or lack of religion, which doesn't fit within any of our other II forums"

What exactly does biblical criticism and history mean?

We deal with biblical texts and their historical contexts.

You want a general religious discussion and we have already been through this with another of your threads.

This thread contains no discussion, and I see no point in keeping it open.

Angyson - you have already been told in this very thread why it is not BC&H material.
