Of course you don't see it as a sacrifice, you would never voluntarily put yourself in that position.
But he is supposedly eternal. That would make his 30years on earth and bit of time on the cross infinitesimally small in comparison to the rest of his existance. Some sacrifice.

The idea of an infinite being suffering is just absurd. All talk of whether he suffered enough is meaningless since an omnifelicitious deity cannot suffer at all.

(Omnifelicitious is now a word. I hope Merriam Webster gives me credit someday.)

This is what I've always figured. I mean, the last time that Satan tried to mess with God, he got his ass handed to him on a platter. Why would he try something again? Even if he had Jesus in his power for those couple of days and could go to town on Him, what's to stop Jesus from kicking down the Gates of Hell a week later and serving it up on Satan's ass one more time?

Absolutely nothing if god is all powerful. And if he's perfectly good, then he also must do this, except making sure to take care of evil forever this time. (Why did god screw up the first time? )

Unless of course we're not getting the full story here, and both god and satan are deities of similar power, and thus neither is able to destroy each other. Or, it could be that god has a Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde thing going on. This is assuming that Christianity is true, of course.

"Marriage is betwen a man and a woman"

Women are often called devils by Christians.

"Marriage is between a man and a devil"

muhahah! It is true... but will their children be 1/4 god, 1/4 human, and 1/2 devil?
