Default ErrancyWiki - King Dave's Top 10 Examples of Errancy in The Christian Bible

JW:
I've commanded Peter Kirby to clean up the Spam at ErrancyWiki (The one thing the Christians are right about is that an idol mind really is the Devil's playground) and I've created a new feature there:

King Dave's Top 10 Examples of Errancy in The Christian Bible

I've started out with the Grand-Daddy of all Genealogical errors, Richard Carrier's Luke vs. Matthew on the Year of Christ's Birth by Richard Carrier (2006). Please leave your suggestions for other Top examples of Errancy in the Christian Bible in this Thread. Criteria for the List are that the claimed Error should be:

1) Important

2) Clear

3) Popular

4) Detailed

5) Professionally written up

STORY, n.
A narrative, commonly untrue. The truth of the stories here following has, however, not been successfully impeached.

To me, the #1 unexplainable contradiction is Jesus' grandfather; was Joseph's father Heli (Luke 3) or Jacob (Mt 1)?

My other favorites are the two creation stories (Genesis 1 vs 2), and the resurrection contradictions, put so eloquently by Dan Barker as the Easter Challenge.

This is a good one and I've started the argument for error at ErrancyWiki:

As far as my Criteria Barker's article lacks clarity, detail and especially, a Professional format.

I've been surprised at the overall lack of Professionally written articles on Errancy in general. It looks like Carrier's article Luke vs. Matthew on the Year of Christ's Birth by Richard Carrier (2006) (which I helped him format to meet my standards) is the Standard now for a Professional Errancy article.

The Format for a Professional article should include:

1) Introduction

2) Author Qualifications (with Apologies to Jeffrey Gibson)

3) Background of the issue

4) Attempted major defenses organized by defense

5) Conclusions

6) References (copious)
