Heh heh. Major Goran and PFC Zias... I think Shanks really ought to know how closely related the military used to be with archaeology, which makes it seem all the more disingenuous to bring up rank as if it adds something to the story. You can't escape the fact that Yigal Yadin was one of the major figures in both army and archaeology, and brought plenty of resources to bear on the early years. Too bad Generals Dayan and Yadin aren't here to resolve this issue properly (though court martialling Lt Golan might not be such a bad idea).
