A Jesus movement is always bad news because it is wrong to be born again and still go to church. Peter represents faith and James represents hope which is a bad combination and a contradiction in terms because it contains too much doubt, for after all, if one is truly born of God what are you hoping for?

Here is Gal.3 on this:
It was for liberty that Christ freed us. So stand firm, and do not take on yourself the yoke of slavery a second time. Pay close attention to me, Paul, when I tell you that if you have yourself circumsized [by the law] Christ will be of no use to you! I point out once more to all who received circumcision that they are bound by the law in its entirety. Any of you who seek your justification in the law have severed yourself from Christ and fallen from Gods favor!
Rev.14:6-12 is where they will end up and pay close attention to verse 6-12 to recognize them in America today. They are the charismatics that have bundled some bible pasages together on which hey soar through "midheaven" (which is between heaven and earth and thus purgatory) from where they shout admonitions to those down below. The second angel tells us that they will all hate the Catholic church and the third angel tells us not to worship the mark of the beast which in reality they actually do when claiming their own salvation and still observe the law (verse 12).

Verse 13 is the enriched Catholic who has died in the Lord and is now enjoying his riches in heaven while being entertained by these enriched doubters that soar until they crash at the foot of the cross and there sing patient endurance songs until they die nonetheless.

If Bultman calls it just another myth he obviously does not know what a myth is in the critical sense of the word myth and so his "look at Jesus existentially" will just remain another look.

The idea that someone who died some two thousand year ago for your or my flawed nature seems preposterous to a modern mind.
That doesn't say much for the modern mind because a clean break is needed between the OT and the NT wherein the Jewish flawed nature cannot be a liability in a Catholic heaven. You must remember here that if the thousand year reign of God is in our midst there is no way that Catholics will decorate their heaven with Jewish trinkets and anecdotes and so a 'dark age' is bound to follow because even Jewish richess are a liability in Catholicism. Does that seem fair enough to you?

Oops, I forgot to tell you that in my view heaven is for Catholics only.
