Default Confusion about BCH topics split

I would tell you about it (heaven), but it will most likely be deleted because this forum doesn't tolerate alternative versions of things that they are used to attacking. So, sorry about that.

I would reply to this thread, but this forum is intolerant to differing points of views. My post would most likely get deleted in the hopes of protecting the fragile minds of the people who happen to visit this forum. So I am sorry that I cannot reply.

JAB's posts have not been deleted. Some have been moved to the appropriate forum.

I think that JAB would like to tell you to look in the Book of Urantia for the answer, although he refuses to provide any reasons for trusting that document. If you are so inclined, you can read about it here.

If you reject the historical authority of the gospels because they were not written by eyewitnesses, I suspect you will not be inclined to believe a document written in the 1950's.

How is this forum tolerant when it moves my post elsewhere? If I reply to a thread and it's relevant, shouldn't it stay there? Why move it to a place that is convoluted with messages that are only relevant to certain threads? I have systematically been censored and I expect the same treatment in the future.

Lightbulb Horses for courses, or, at least, appropriate forums

Toleration involves respect for the forum. This forum is about biblical issues and their relation to history. If you want to talk about biblical materials this is the place. If you want to talk about other things then other forums will be more likely venues. So you should have no trouble if you want to talk about the bible and related early Judeo-christian literature.

Quotes from the Book of Urantia are never relevant in this forum.

You can bleed about this or get over it. The material isn't in the scope of this forum. Toleration or the lack of it is not involved. Would you go to a forum dedicated to football and talk about makrame? I'm sure you'd understand that it would be inappropriate. There are many other forums here, if you don't want to talk about bible issues. You're welcome to talk about the bible and related history. And you are welcome.

But this isn't a Bible website. If it was, there would be thousands of Born Again, Catholic, Baptist, Mormon and your run of the mill Christians commenting here. This is a website dedicated to the existence or non-existence of God. Any source should be valid when discussing these sorts of subjects. So don't name this forum one that is truly interested in the TRUTH behind the bible when it is clearly not. The tolerance level is low in these parts.

This is the Biblical Criticism & History Forum. We can freely discuss your Urantia book in the General Religious Discussions forum.
