That's all the more I reason I won't buy it.
What's the logic to that reaction?

$85.00 Logic!

Did you see Neil Godfrey's recent conversation with Tom?
No Robert have not. I stay off Godfreys site just another one of those self centered college grads that think they know more than everyone and half of them could not make a beer fart in a whirlwind.

I can understand that you might choke on the cost (sadly that reflects the cost of scholarly books generally), but that seems to be the basic reason and not included in the "[t]hat's all the more reason" which is contingent on what Stephan said.

No, I'm not saying any fucking thing of the kind. I lament the price of scholarly books generally and you jump the rails. And if you can't say what you mean when you say something, don't bother saying it. Others might waste their time trying to make sense of what you say.
Oh well. They cannot figure it out thats their damn problem.............

As you can't be bothered to communicate when you post, it's understandable if people ignore you.

He might be able to read English if you actually wrote it.

And this is someone who ignores the Vridar blog because it's the product of some college grad? Apparently that's too high a level of comprehension to reach for someone whose idea of intelligent and clever repartee is "a beer fart in the whirlwind".

What the hell has FRDB descended to? (Never thought I'd see the day when I welcomed Jeffrey Gibson back to help raise the level a little!)

Hey....if the shoe fits wear it. Contrary to what you so called scholars think who are in debt up to your ass for a title at the end of your name you don't know it all and your fucking word is not the final word. Opinions are like ass holes every body has one and a fancy title does not make yours any more or less important than any one elses. Get over yourselves before you choke on that fucking self centered attitude.

Your post is extremely strange. Something is radically wrong. At one time you claimed that Jeffrey Gibson made "rabid diatribes" against you and was not familiar with your actual arguments.

Please, you claimed that Gibson may be the worst element in critical scholarship towards animosity against mythicists.

What standard can Gibson raise?

Examine an excerpt of your own post.

Gibson may be an example of the worst elements in critical scholarship in its visceral animosity toward mythicism and mythicists, but his silence on any substantive rebuttal is equalled across the whole range of scholarship.
