Default The transformed disciples

In John 20, the disciples receive the Holy Spirit , which transforms them.

Why then do they go back to fishing in Galilee, just as they were doing before they even met Jesus?

NT Wright in 'John for Everyone' says this is a 'puzzle'.

I think one solution is that the stories in John 20 and John 21 grew up with no reference to each other, and were then shoehorned together into one book.
