If AIDS is a punishment for homosexuality, how come the vast majority of those infected in Africa are heterosexual? How come lesbians are very rarely infected? How come gay Japanese men, among others, are comparatively spared?

If AIDS is a punishment for sexual "misconduct", how come some people are infected via blood transfusion? How come many (virgin!) children are infected too?

You didn't reply to IsItJustMe's post either. The most probable cause of the emergence of the HIV is a mutation from the SIV transmitted through the consumption of ape meat in Africa, about 50 years ago.

Do you have any evidence that the HIV existed before the XXth century?

The human race can last even if all the women become lesbians (e.g. if we use artificial insemination on them as happens with milk cows). BTW what is Allah's injunction with respect to factory farming of cows for milk and meat (which happens in many many countries today, notably India where cruelty to cows was otherwise forbidden in the past)?

But since children raised by homosexual couples tend to be heterosexual in the same proportion as in the rest of the population, this is a non-issue. I think it's extremely unlikely that we will ever see a human society that's 100% GLBT or 100% straight.

It is hard to back up this statement, since in non-Asian predominantly Muslim countries there are no reliable HIV/AIDS statistics. However, countries such as the UAE are believed by experts to have a massive undiagnosed problem, because of culture resistance to sexual health practices. For example, progrssive countries like Egypt have only recently offered anonymous testing. Most Muslim countries in the Middle East don't have this, and because of cultural persecution for unacceptable sexual practices (such as multiple partners, anal and oral sex, and homosexuality) people are scared to have their names on a test as it then may become connected to these practices.

Also, Indonesia has a massive HIV problem, not only from the corruption of the society, but intravenous drug users and an unregulated sex industry. And it's a predominantly Muslim country. Your theory has more holes in it than a Catholic condom.
