But boy do they ever differ on how they interpret that scripture.

Boy, now truer words were never spoken there.

Go to a "true christian" site, and ask some kind of a doctrinal question. Then, just sit back and watch the "true christians" as they try and speak for God and condemn the other side.

Great entertainment.

Well I did try asking questions of a reasonably friendly Baptist Pastor but it's a bit of a waste of time after a while. A bit like talking to a brick wall.

Exactly. Even something as simple as "how do I get saved" will get you 10 different answers depending on which "true christian" forum you go to, or which "true" christian answers the question. But yeah, they can "refute us in seconds"

and on the same token they should expect arrogance in return when they take a condenscending tone with others, such as the author of this thread.

Thanks.
Many of us are in fact members of various Christian forums, and some of us have spent years discussing and debating our views with actual Christians on those sites and at other venues as well as this one. But where we post and how we spend our time is our business. Your lecture is as unnecessary as it is presumptuous.

And you think that's the way to get them to listen to and/or to consider what you have to say? Or is bashing them, rather than changing their minds or at least getting them to see that your point of view is reasonable and worthy of consideration, all you are really interested in?

I avoid christian forums. I find their thinking scary to say the least.

1) This board in fact does have knowlegeable Christians among its members.

2) I get the impression from some of the remarks here that the expectation is that Chrisitanity should be simple to explain ... Unlike say the differences in agnostic/atheist beliefs?
