Where Did He, (jesus), Go?
WHERE DID HE GO?
GENESIS 1 19: So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL, THAT REFERED TO THIS VERSE. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE GROWN, INTELLIGENT PEOPLE BUT, REASON IS THROWN OUT THE WINDOW, WHEN DISCUSSING JESUS! SOME OF US ACTUALLY BELIEVE A LIVE MAN ASCENDED INTO THE SKY AND WENT TO A PLACE CALLED "HEAVEN"!!! WHERE DOES THIS PLACE EXIST, WHERE A MAN MAY GO WHILE PHYSICALLY ALIVE? CAN ONE RISE UP IN AMERICA AND CHINA, AND REACH THE SAME DESTINATION? MAY I VISIT? PLEASE, SOMEONE EXPLAIN!!! |

Last week the news reported that they heard a loud BOINK of unknown origin on the Space Station. That's what happened to Jesus.

beanpie,
First of all, its from a belief, a faith, something that can't be completely proven or else it would instead be a fact. You ask "where did jesus go", first jesus would have to be proven to have at least existed. No one is really going to be able to answer your question to much further than you could all by yourself reading through christian text. |

beanpie -
I think you will find your basic question addressed in this thread with as much seriousness as it deserves, or more. So off we go to ~~Elsewhere~~ PS - I advise against typing in all caps. It is considered rude - it is like shouting. |

shamayim, the Hebrew word for "heaven"
For obvious reasons, only the Old Testament is addressed. The
following is it'ss meaning. shamayim shaw-mah'-yim dual of an unused singular shameh {shaw-meh'}; from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve):--air, X astrologer, heaven (-s).http://www.jcsm.org/StudyCenter/kjvstrongs/STRHEB80.htm |
