Default Naked Man With Naked Man in Hippolytus's Apostolic Tradition

Quote:
Then, after these things, let him give him over to the presbyter who baptizes, and let the candidates stand in the water, naked, a deacon going with them likewise.[1]

[1] the sense may be that the presbyter, the candidate and the deacon all stand naked in the water; in the above translation "the candidates" was supplied for "them" and the following "them" was substituted for "him".
Does that mean the original material read:

Then, after these things, let him give him over to the presbyter who baptizes, and let them stand in the water, naked, him going with them likewise.

Yet another sign of the control-freakery of the antichurch.

The word 'naked' meant 'with outer garment removed'. Even the fake church knew better than to expose pudenda.
