I removed a comment of yours that I thought was too personal and off topic. If you want to complain, there is a forum for that, but moderation issues are off topic in thread.

Racism is a fairly recent invention in world history, and hardly applies here. If Jesus was a Palestinian Jew, he would not be considered a different "race" from Samaritans or Greeks by modern definitions.
Only in America.

You talk about condemning someone. Who, in this thread is condemning anyone? We're merely comparing the Christian version of Jesus to the most accurate version we can rely on.
Well, no, you are picking at an embarrassing part of the gospels, but those gospels are Christian. And you have used some very loaded language - "racist" and "idiot" - which generally indicate you want to provoke a fight, rather than explore an issue.
I think he's right.

Thanks for being the first person to back me up against those 2.

I won't respond to Roger Pearce's post above because you know what'll happen.

And he's just deleted his own post.

Probably because it was a rant.

And I think Roger is too blinded by religious self righteousness to make much sense atm.

Careful what you say about certain people, you don't want your posts to be deleted.:rolling:

Well if they want to censor me for saying his post was a rant, so be it.

Is this thread really appropriate to BC&H, I wonder? It seems to be very short on historical content.

Actually, thanks to genetic studies, we know it is a superficial differentiation.

There is only one race and it is human.

The variation is due to ultimately irrelevant biological reaction to local environment (eg melanin and sun) and enormously relevant but non-biological cultural differences.
