In some Talmudic writings and writings by the Roman historian Celsus and the Christian theologin Origen it is mentioned that Mary was thrown out of the house of the carpenter because of her adultery with the Roman soldier Pantera. According to these accounts she gave birth to the illegitamate child Jesus and became known as a harlot, which is the reputation that Mary Magdelene had.

Why not! In the same way as Mary theotokos is the perpetual virgin so is Mary Magdalene the perpetual harlot that gives birth to the illigitimate Jesus and the many Senecan tragedies around today are evidence of her popularity among Christians. Mary Magdalene is the one who gives birth to the illigitimate Jesus and those reborn of her become the kind of Jesus worshippers who hope that things will get better for them after they die.

Senecan tragedies are failed divine comedies wherein the crisis moment leads to a tragic end instead of a happy end.

I thought Herod Antipasta was a person, not a tree...

Offa,
That is because you are a fundy. Herod did not have
anything against pizza

On a lighter note, in Scripture the Fig Tree was human
as were earthquakes, thunder, and lightning. The earthquake
during Jesus' crucifixion was a Jewish priest. The angel
was Simon Magus (better known as Lazarus). Simon was crucified
along with Christ and Judas Iscariot. Jesus and Simon survived
the ordeal whereas Judas was hurled over a precipice to his
death (he bought the potters field).
The Earthquake, thunder, and lightning can be different
people or one and the same. The important individuals at the
crucifixion were Caiaphas (definite earthquake) and Jonathan
Annas (Father, foresaker), Simon Magus (thunder?), Agrippa
(the last king of the Jews).

The fig tree was human. Thomas Hardy called it the Yew Tree in "Voices from the Graveyard" and these voices were the fruits of the fig/yew tree. Both fig and yew trees are known to get very old and in this sense do they speak of our soul nature wherein we are also very old.

In the Fig Tree allegory Jesus condems people who are not learned in the reign of God from where they produce from the Old stock whence they came.
