Default Google books request

Can anyone access Bensly's "Fourth Book of Maccabees" on Google Books here? If so, could someone help me get hold of a copy? I'm interested in the sermon by Severus of Antioch on pp.xxvii-xxxiv.

Thanks!

Thanks Ben, I'll grab that this evening.

Toto: much of Google books is invisible from outside the US.

Ben, I have them. Many thanks indeed.

Interestingly from the introduction I learn that 4 Maccabees is present in the great biblical codices Sinaiticus and Alexandrinus, which I had not known.

There was some sort of fascination with martyrdom in the period when those codices were produced, and these books fit the bill.

If this post doesn't fall into oblivion, then it will probably need a split.

Are there any biblical (and later early Christian) scholars here, who are also familiar with the sort of martyrdom rhetoric emerging from modern Islam, and, if so, are things in common, things different, about them?

David B (is curious)
