Default Stop the NO RESURRECTION in short Mark nonsense

Mark 16:2-7

Quote:
2 Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3 They were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” 4 Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, although it was extremely large. 5 Entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at the right, wearing a white robe; and they were amazed. 6 And he said to them, “ Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him. 7 But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘ He is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see Him, just as He told you.’”
If that isn't a resurrection, what is?

It is time to stop claiming that the shorter version of GMark doesn't support a resurrection, or that it is about the disciples never believing Jesus had been resurrected. Both claims are pure NONSENSE.

Ha ha. You apparently didn't read or understand what I wrote. The claim of a resurrection AND A RESURRECTION APPEARANCE is still evident without explicit appearances.

The shorter version of gMark suggests latter addition ie. embellishment. As would be expected of a myth-narrative developed over many years.

The stories are more likely to be myth-fiction.

It is a story, good enough for believers.
A god can be resurrected, not a historical person.

JW:
As Yeshu Barra would say after seeing ignorance/denial of the next verse and ending explicitly contradicting your point, and instead substituting shouting and repetition, "Sounds like Deja Jew all over again."

I've given up on Ted and think he would be much better suited at Tweeb. For those who need points sharply explained, the whole point of "Mark" is that those close to Jesus did not believe him. Isn't it obvious that the subject of "Mark" was not convincing (per "Mark", what better source). "Mark" is what was convincing.

Joe, why don't you stop trying to be clever and actually address the argument I'm making? Peter proclaimed Jesus to be the Christ in GMark. How do you conclude they don't believe him? What is said is they didn't understand resurrection. But at the end the implication is that finally they understood.

Your response is nearly unintelligible above. Try making a reasoned argument. I can understand reason.

There is no resurrection story. It goes from a crucifixion to burial and skipping a resurrection story right to an empty tomb with someone claiming that jesus has risen.
There is no description of the resurrection and there is no jesus appearance in the short ending of mark.
You are reading a story of the empty tomb claiming that jesus resurrected and the people's reaction to that claim.
The lazarus story included a resurrection story.

Is there any account of the actual resurrection in any accepted canonical source?

Who was present at the moment of the Resurrection, and reports seeing Jesus come back to life, get up, unwrap the death shroud, and walk or fly out of that tomb?
Has 'Christian' belief ever required that there had to be an independent observer present on the scene at the moment of Resurrection, for holding a belief in the reality of Jesus' Resurrection to be a possibility?
