Default Monty Python points out...

I was watching Life of Brian recently and saw the beginning of the film where we see Jesus giving one of his typical sermons. The camera pulls back to show a crowd of people, and we see people in the back going, "Speak up! We can't hear you!".

If so many people listened, how can they actually hear him? Of course you could talk to the people in the front, but it would be likely that the entire message will be fragmented by then!

Well, he could have given the sermon in a place with great acoustics.

I think that's probably the point.

"Blessed are the cheesemakers?"

"Well, it's not to be taken in a literal sense, darling..."

I know I'm wet blanket, but I don't see much opportunity for critical, on topic discussion, so off you go...big nose!

Woe is the day when citing Monty Python lines does not equate to critical discussion.

Today, i guess. Woe. Woe.

Oh, it's the meek! Blessed are the meek! Oh, that's nice, isn't it? I'm glad they're getting something, 'cause they have a hell of a time.
