You're the one with the claim about no navy. I don't have to prove anything.
Zek lists all major weapons that Nebby had but guess what? No navy.
And ofcourse you do you're the one who said Nebby had a navy. And that he built a causeway (or was it there was already a causeway waiting for Nebby to cross it.)

Ezekiel contradicts himself there also. First he says "it will be bare rock, a place to spread nets upon". Then he says it will be "buried under the sea". You can't spread nets on something buried under the sea. :rolling:

This is poetic language anyhow.

Well, it is at the hands of a nation - it's at the hands of Babylon.

But you're still dodging the issue - why would Nebuchadnezzar launch a military campaign and not have the required essentials to carry it out? Do you think he was that stupid? Do you think he had never heard of Tyre? That maybe he didn't know it was on an island?

Do you think Nebuchadnezzar could succeed at running a vast empire if he was guilty of military screw-ups like what you're describing?

Um....Tyre is still above water.
My point exactly! As well as Ezekiel 26 27 Jeremiah and Isaiah and Joel. Um...so how can God bring the sea over the city of Tyre if it is destroyed by Nebby? (Oh please answer this)

Because:

1. this prophecy failed, so the contradiction remains; <-- true
2. this was poetic language in the first place, and never intended to be literally fulfilled

Poetic language? A contradiction? Is it poetic Language in ch.27 also? In ch.27 there is no mention of any army coming against the island and yet it says in clear language that it will be buried by the sea. Could the contradiction be that one judgement is against the mainlnad city and the other against the island? I mean after all Zek lists land based weapons which suggest land siege, and the mainland city was laid into the water that has not been rebuilt. The burying in the sea 19-21 is against the island. So could there be two judgements against two locations of the "dual city" it certainly sounds like it dont you think?

Oh now its a contradictory poetically written prophecy? Ezekiel who made the prophecy never intended for it to happen? (can you hear this guy? No logic at' tall)

Before im off to a few hours sleep let me end this session by saying "The Hammers (Sugar, Arnoldo) hammers continuously against the rocks of error, until they are broken into a thousand pieces....and they will brake sooner or later. Good night.

These particular "hammers" will break into a thousand pieces, leaving the solid rock of reality still there.

I would like to leave this thread open, since it just emphasizes how prophecy fails again and again, but I think this thread will be closed if no one can come up with anything new to say.

Oh now its a contradictory poetically written prophecy?
I offered two possibilities:

1. It's a contradiction - easily believed, since the bible contains many of them;
2. It's poetic language, in which case not to be taken literally

I didn't say both were true at the same time.

No, he just never intended it to happen the way that sugarhitman has tried to interpret it as happening.

More logic in my little finger than in your whole body, poptart.

Hammers? Are they making hammers out of jello these days?
:rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

You're so fucking clueless that you don't even realize that you & arnoldo hold mutually contradictory positions. So the two jello hammers are actually banging against each other, not against the skeptics.
