Default Abraham and Isaac

I read on http://www.centuryone.com/25dssfacts.html that the Dead Sea Scrolls contain an explanation of why God asked Abraham to kill his only son Isaac. Does anyone here know what that explanation was?

I can't find anything about it in either my Eisenman & Wise translation or my Vermes one. Perhaps on-line?

Century One is obviously pretty vacuous, and I suspect they picked this up from some Reader's Digest they saw in the dentist's waiting room. Pity - I'm very interested in interpretations of Abraham and Isaac and would have liked to have seen the Qumran spin.

Regards

Robert

Thanks, Freez - this looks a good article. Indeed, 4Q225 is in Vermes, but I missed it. And I take back what I said about Century One.

The link doesn't seem to work for me. It'll open the graphics bar at the top of the page but not the article itself.
