Solo, have I missed a translation of your comments about believing in descendants of Mary Magdalene being less bizarre?

Does M. Boistier seriously assert that Christian scholars of the time tried to pretend Jesus was rooted in the sectarian Judaic history of the first century ?If that is the case, I guarantee you that the belief of Pierre Plantard de Saint-Clair (which gave rise to the idiocies of The da Vinci Code) is less bizzare.

Perhaps a group other than the Essenes.
