The UK and King David
The British people may claim that their people are descendent of Ancient King David.
But yet they do not have an ancient middle east language dialect in their language such as hebrew or its dialects. How could they make that claim? |

When the goths migrated across the roman empire, they wandered, like moses, in thre "wilderness" for 40 years. They therfore concluded that they were the spiritual heirs of the israelites and the true chosen people of god. This entered european christianity quite strongly, and I suspect that is the origin of the claim.
