That would be American alright.

So the pattern is that fake Socrates gets trapped by his own silly arguments or the better ones of the opposition and starts or re-starts a bunch of other threads as a distraction or merely goes away and sulks for a while. (?) We have a few of those sort of people on the BBC message boards too (NB The boards are off-line at the moment).

Thought the following might be of amusement. Despite sarfati being a top level researcher he still has time to say things like:

"Of course, it's unbecoming to insult your intellectual superiors in that way, esp. one who trounced all three of you put together in the Alumnus of the Year election."

He said this in response to DDW who appears to have called him retarded!

You can view (if a member) the thread:

Aaahhh, the simple pleasures of TWeb!

Yeah, he lost (to an atheist!) but I guess he is referring to DDW et al who apparently he beat. Sure beats getting papers published.

I now regret not taking the name "Hemlock" when I signed up for TheologyWeb.

You're a bad, bad man RufusAtticus. But what's stopping you from having more than 1 account?

Ah well, it's not unexpected -- after all, all men are mortal and socrates is a man....
