Fact is, there IS no such creature to be found in the Bible. The one use of the word anti-christ in the Bible {I cannot recall the specific passage} is used to describe people in general that claim to be the Christ. Equally, the whole Book of Revelation is almost certainly a description of what was happening to Christians in Johns day, as opposed to some apocalyptic vision of the future.
Hmm, something just occured to me...................who is the anti-christ

antichrist/christian??????????, same letters, same word, same idea? isn't that called an anagram (sorry not so smart about what those names are).

Isn't christianity "group mentality? Is there true safety in numbers, meaning mental? How does one rise up into the fullness of self through group mentality? Was Jesus practicing group mentality when he refused his mother in favor of the group? That always bothered me. And no one has ever offered me an explanation that sufficed ( I found my own). Sometimes I think we need to apply common sense to understanding the stories in the bible. I would have booted my son in the ..........................

Thanks

What makes you think we wouldn't? We've been exposed to your brand of Apocalyptic Fundism for centuries {The basic idea of a pre-trib Rapture and one Satanic world leader known as the Anti-Christ has been around since at least 500 A.D.}; if it's all going to go down exactly as you say, who's to say we wouldn't recognize the Anti-Christ for what he is?

Of course, it is totally absurd; as even your own holy book doesn't support such claims, but of course faith in what your sect teaches is more important than what's in the Bible, right?

Maguss, here is some bad news for you.

The Christ is the first beast of Rev.13 that came out of the sea and the antichrist is the second beast of Rev.13 that came out of the earth. The first beast had victory over sin while the second beast did not. The first beast came from the water because it was begotten of God and the second beast was begotten from carnal desire = earth (back in Jn.1:13).

The dragon gave its own power and throne together with great authority to this first beast to say that the mighty satan in the life of this man had been defeated etc.

The second beast still spoke like a dragon to say that sin had not been defeated, etc. and is exactly why it is the antichrist who we know in Catholicism a the "Jesus worshippers" who want to convert the whole world and place the ideal of salvation in their forehead and give them a bible in their right hand to prove it.

So now who is the antichrist? (and don't tell me that you are left-handed).
