I sure that Holding will be laughing all the way to the bank as his followers plunk down more money to have their fairy tales vindicated.

Oh, and I'm sure that Robert Turkel will be objective in this chapter:

Quote:
Profiles of Kenneth Humphreys, Robert Price, Richard Carrier
Given Turkel's inability to control his inflammatory comments, I expect that chapter to be nothing but a slander-fest. Of course, Turkel could shoot himself in the foot as well by opening himself up to the actionable offense of printing libel.

Self-publish? Surely Harper Collins or some other house wants a tome like this.

FYI: In July, 2007, he had his name legally changed from Robert Turkel to James Patrick Holding.

The Chapter on Doherty's xianities should be interesting. My Norman Davies - History of Europe - he is only a professor of History - lists them!

Yeah, its not like he publishes stuff on the internet all the time that might expose him to liability if he was prone to make defamatory comments.

This is certainly public knowledge. I've reported it on my blog, as well as elsewhere, even from the start (how else do you think Holding knows how much money I was paid?). It is only Holding who never names me or tells his readers anywhere where to find this $5000+ response.

In case you, too, have been thwarted by Holding's cover-up job and didn't know where this response was, it's here: Was Christianity Too Improbable to be False? (2006).

However, I am very interested in his new book, and I would be pleased if someone informed me as soon as it became available for purchase. I'm willing to give it a fair shake, especially since I know Hannam is a real scholar, and might exercise some moderating influence on Holding's tone.

If you click on the Amazon link, it looks like it is now available from Amazon or a few other sellers, affordably priced.

I thought Hannam had a degree in library science? Am I confusing people? I think his Shakespeare analogy would be spot on, though. Gakusei Don's I'd read, too. He's fair, in my opinion. I think I already know what Chris Price will do with Acts, and I am a bit surprised to see Kevin Rosero there. At least the crazies from the old days have been left out.

Thankfully! Metacrockashit, in my opinion. The already laughable J. P. Holding wouldn't have any credibility (credibility he possibly can earn with his contributors) if he would have signed him on. Yaeh rhgit, i hvae deslixya plaese.
