self-satisfaction
"A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of [his] mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him." Proverbs 12:14
I perceive that it is good that a man should be satisfied, and enjoy the good of all his labor that he takes on all the days of his life; cf [Ecc. 2:24, 3:12-13, 3:22,5:18] I pity those who labor yet are never satisfied in this life, and who at their end run up against a wall; having attained no joy nor self-satisfaction in this life, die, without a hope to breach that wall, never attaining true joy nor self-satisfaction, not on this side, nor on that. |

Oh, NOW I get it. The four stones left unchosen represent the 4 horses of the apocalype which, yet for a time, remain restrained, while the one chosen and flung, destryoying the heathen by it own emmersion in grey matter, represents the path of salvation.
Either that or a duck. I bet it's the duck. |
