It is a fear based on reality. The Galations were bewitched: "You senseless Galatians! Who has cast a spell over you--" (Gal.3:1).

They, too, were born of the spirit but returned to the flesh and so became "saved sinners" (I like that contradiction they so proudly boast about). Go to Gal.3 and read that "any of you who seek your justification in the law have severed yourself from Christ and fallen from Gods favor."

For sure, he didn't invent them, and they are ancient, and they are real, and they will destroy even the best civilization and therefore they are worth figthing against. That was the whole purpose of the Inquisition and I think it is about time we have another one.

Yes they were a product of fear and ignorance and that is what makes them vulnerable to become saved sinners for life -- which is the illusion wherein they think they have eternal life but must die to get there (unless JC comes back before they die).

Don't you see the contraction in this that is based on fear?
