I heard a claim recently and I've been unable to verify it. Supposedly somewhere in the bible there is a claim that if Satan had known about the resurrection he would have tried to stop the Romans from going forward with it.

Is this true? If so, where in the bible is this located?

I think you are talking about 1 Corinthians 2:8:

"which no one of the rulers of this age did know, for if they had known, the Lord of the glory they would not have crucified;"(YLT)

The "rulers of this age" can be understood to refer to the demons believed to control the world either acting on their own or as the force driving the people who crucified Jesus.
