QoS' Nutwatch series was born out of the Rants, Raves, and Preaching forum. I kinda miss it.
I remember there was a theism forum here first time i came .. what happened to it?

Hey, there's only so much room in Heaven. The True Believers need to impose more restrictions to make sure only the very best get in. What fun would it be if they had to share Heaven with all of the people they hated in this life?

Catholics worship Mother Mary. To Hell with them!

Baptists don't believe in the transsubstantiation. Damn them!

Calvinists believe in preordination of the elect, so they are not being fishers of men as Jesus hath commanded. Eternal Fire to them!

Lutherans and Anglicans are rebels against the Holy Church. Into the Loving God's glorious lake of fire they go!

All of these trendy non-denominational churches, well they are corrupting the inerrant word of God. Let the demons claw out their eyes and tear their flesh for all eternity!

Numbers don't mean shit, Bible Thumper. We're going to the same place when we die, you and I and all of the other billions of "Christians."

you know this is what I wonder about JWs. They believe there's only so many places in heaven right? So why the fuck are they always on my doorstep trying to convert me? Aren't they scared I might take THEIR place?

JW's are going to the Christian Hell because they don't believe in God as the Holy Trinity. So Bible Thumper probably couldn't care less about them.

But why do they recruit? They want our money, just like the Christians and Mormons.

Just in case you were actually wondering...

JWs believe that 144,000 "annointed" people will be in heaven as some sort of government. The rest of them will "live forever on a paradise earth". Some of them even believe they'll be able to have children and everything. Which leads to some interesting questions about overpopulation. But this is religion we're talking about here, why get it all sticky with logic?

The real irony, of course, is that the belief you just described is closer to what the Bible actually says than mainstream Christianity's beliefs...

But just try getting a mainstream Christian to admit that!

Also, the 144,000 are all virgins (Rev. 14:4). Try getting a "traditional family values" Christian to admit that.
