Abe's new edition of Genesis
The traditional creation story was suitable for explaining the environment before we had science to explain it all. Today, there are some parts of the Bible that you can't seriously ask intelligent people to affirm. Therefore, I recommend taking a more liberal approach to Biblical interpretation, that we may still take lessons from it, and so Christianity may survive the progressing age of knowledge. For example, here is my revision to the story of the original sin:
1Eve was walking alone in the garden when she saw a snake appear from a bush next to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.If this revision is integrated into the Biblical creation account, it should as a whole be much easier for an educated person to believe. |
