Message to arnoldo: Message to arnoldo: Following your same line of reasoning, if the Jews occupied one square mile of Palestine, that would a fulfilled prophecy.

If the Jews did not occupy Jerusalem, but occupied other parts of Palestine, would you call that a fulfilled prophecy?

Why didn't Ezekiel mention Alexander?

This is 100% derail. You disputed human ability to judge God's (im)morality. I presented you with an example of an action attributed to God by the authors of the Bible, and asked you whether you thought it was moral. I'll ask again: do you think mass-murder of infants is moral?

So far, I have never seen a prophecy that met all the above requirements.
Well, take a look at Jesus Christ, he has met all of the requirements. Most of the prophecies have been fulfilled in the first coming and the remaining (establishing the Kingdom of Israel) will be fulfilled in the second coming. Sorry, just because you misunderstand or misinterpret a prophecy doesn't mean it's not true.

That they should accept the opinions of the vast majority of Jewish scholars and Jews who have always rejected Christianity. If I were a Jew, I would tell you "I agree with you regarding the Partition of Palestine, but I diasgree with your claim that Jesus was the Son of God. Why am I wrong?"

Do you thing that it is moral for God to cause animals to kill each other, and humans? Would you like to debate the character of God at the GRD Forum, or at the MF&P Forum?

No, he met none of the requirements. The only records we have of his existence that are even close to contemporaneous are those written by his followers, who were obviously dependent on the OT prophecies in writing their accounts. For example, the census in Luke that makes Joseph return to Bethlehem was invented so that Jesus could be said to fulfill the prophecies about the Davidic messiah.

The vast majority of Jews and Jewish scholars disagree. Why are you right?

Jesus had not met any of the requirements. For instance, Micah 5:2 predicted that a messiah would come who would be a genetic descendant of David. Matthew contradicted that by claiming that Jesus would be conceived by the Holy Spirit, not by humans.

At any rate, you are off-topic. This thread is about the failed land promise that God made to Abraham. If you wish to debate messianic prophecy, please start a new thread. You have a ridiculous habit of trying to validate one prophecy that you do not have confidence in, such as the Tyre prophecy, with another prophecy that you have confidence in, in which case you never should have made any posts in the thread on the Tyre prophecy. Please stop trying to validate one prophecy with another prophecy.
