Second Face on Shroud
According to this article:

The researchers used "mathematical and optical techniques" in examining the image, and say that this makes the case for forgery much more difficult. I don't understand how the case for forgery is made more difficult--especially if the face does in fact match the one on the front of the shroud--but the article made for some... (insert appropriate adjective here) reading. |
