Yes, according to scripture, well let's just say it was definitely implied by the Gospels.

Let's just say that I personally think that 1 is irrefutable and 2 is a matter of opinion at ecumenical councils throughout time.
So whenever Jesus talks about god he means Yahweh, the god of the Sinai, the brutal god of war?
Did Jesus see Yahweh as "a good guy"?
There are extra-biblical non-canonical sources that have Jesus saying that the OT was corrupted and that wherever Yahweh is said to have done bloodthirsty things, including the sacrificial system, these are slander. Jesus also warned that his own words would be similarly twisted.

This was a key issue for gnostics, that Jesus was the son of another god above Yahweh, who was an evil ruler of this world. Marcion thought that the Jewish scripture should be discarded since it revered Yahweh rather than the true high god revealed through Christ.

Proto-Catholics wanted to keep the Jewish connection as well as the divine nature of Christ which was rejected by Jewish-Christians like the Ebionites.

But what about the whole blood sacrifice Jesus performed?
