Isaiah 53,8 ?
Hello,This passage speaks about the people of Israel who one transgressed and that somebody with was struck for the sins of the people of Israel,this verse applies to Jé³µs ?
ISAIAH 53,8: of the land of the living for the transgression of my people to whom the stroke `was due'? Thank to inform me . |

Chimaira, you are French? I am having a little trouble understanding your question. The whole chapter refers to one called the Suffering Servant. He seems to be a symbol of a prt of the Judaean people who may not be guilty of sin (esp worshiping other gods) but suffers, is tormented and exiled anyway, as a member of the tribe of some who did sin.

Isaiah has been discussed recently. My search turned up:
Isaiah 52:13 - 53:12 started by Peter Kirby. I think there have been other discussions. Christians think that this verse prophesied Jesus. Others disagree. |
