IIUC, Weeden presented the paper, "Bailey's Theory of Oral Tradition: A Theory Repudiated by Its Evidence", at the 2005 SBL but I know of no online version.

Dr. Jeffrey Gibson (jgibson000) is another potential source of information about locating it.

It's not in any issue of the JBL so far.

Heh... wouldn't surprise me in the least. I've heard seminaries described as virtual atheist-factories (not using those words, but some people have gotten quite worked up about rampant skepticism in them).

Thanks a many! What's the copyright concerning it?

Edited: I never strolled through Xtalk's files - didn't realize so many were in there!
