Default New review of Did Jesus Exist?

http://www.radikalkritik.de/Ehrman.pdf

The author makes the interesting point that Ehrman criticises mythicists for sensationalist writing, driven by a desire to sell books, when Ehrman actually made a 2 minute 22 second *trailer* for his book, for advertising purposes, and put it on his Facebook page.

Nach dieser Methode könnte man Ehrman mit dem Verfasser des Da Vinci Codes in einen Topf werfen, da beide Autoren offenkundig von der historischen Existenz des Mannes aus Nazareth überzeugt sind.
hahahaha!

By this method, you might as well throw Ehrman with the author of Da Vinci Code in the same pot since both authors are apparently convinced of the historical existence of the Man from Nazareth.

Best,
Jiri

Here is perhaps the best shot Detering takes at Ehrman:

"And yet, without so much as glancing at [the work of] these honorable gentlemen [the Dutch radicals whom the book ignores], professor Ehrman makes them through his idée fixe subject to his cure, as impugners of the historical Jesus, by definition unschooled dilettantes, fanatical atheists with an obvious agenda and foaming at the mouth.

Touché !
