The Jude quote accuses Sodom of ekporneusasi which means "going out to prostitutes," "going whoring" and usually refers specifically to cultic prostitution. There is no accusation of "perversion," but it does accuse them of going after heteros sarkos "other flesh," which probably means banging foreign women. There is nothing in the verse to suggest homosexuality.

Small question: If you live on for 50 more years (or even 80, I've no idea how old you are), and the rapture (or whatever you believe will happen) has not happened until then - will you possibly consider that you were wrong?

mato - the author of 2 Peter, writing in 150 ce, also thought that the signs for the end of the world were near. How many thousands of years must pass before this myth is abandoned?
