Ezekiel 16:49: "Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had arrogance, abundant food, and careless ease, but she did not help the poor and needy."

p.s. keep in mind that Sauron started this thread on his own as a diversion from the current debate we are having on the destruction of tyre, sauron also is throwing out a few other OT questions raised by mr broussard in a desperate attempt to derail our thread. That is rather bad form.

2. What I said is that the Tyre prophecy hasnt' been successfully defended.
3. You don't appear to be the one to accomplish that, either.

It is accepted and polite form to start a new discussion with a new thread, in order to avoid derailing an existing discussion. I have merely followed the ordinary practice - before the moderators step in and split the thread anyhow.

And since there are two open threads about Tyre -- and since you're ducking and weaving in both threads -- I was not out of line to post my response to you there.
