Default unnecessary side talk split from Did Christianity exist in the 2nd c.

oh God not this shit again. pete's playing his one note samba (Samba de Uma Nota Só). There's actually two consistent notes (D and G) in the "one note" part of the Jobim song for those keeping track at home). Making Jobim less monotonous than Pete

Why are you complaining? You noted that this was a sub scholarly forum -- and even used this "fact" to justify your continuing to post what you yourself admitted was stuff of low scholarly standards. So why now insist that some one else live up to standards that you feel you can't or needn't live up to here?

You act like this is something new. I did not establish this forum or its rules. Perhaps you should re-read them especially the part about this not being a language forum.

I never said that. I think you are alone so much you are starting to mistake your inner voice as someone you engaging in dialogue. I merely said that I was privately instructed by the two best authorities in the study of Samaritanism. Your inner voice turned that into me admitting that I wasn't qualified to post here. I seriously believe you should see someone about that inner voice in your head

But I never said that you weren't qualified to post here, especially since it is, as you yourself noted, not a scholarly forum (here). It was you who noted that one should not expect or demand postings of scholarly quality here.

So why are you doing it now with respect to Pete's submissions? Why is he bound by you to standards that you say you are excused from?

And I see that you are back to your standard method of dealing with what I say by attack my person. Way to go to make the forum even more un-scholarly than it normally is!

It looks like it's not me who is being confused by some imaginary dialog.

It looks like you are having yet another imaginary dialogue if you think I ever said I had/have any say in whether you may or may not post or that it's up to me in any way that you do or don't.
