Has Anyone Read Georg Schelbert's Abba Der Literarische Befund Vom Altaramaischen ?
I happened to stumble upon this quite by accident. http://books.google.com/books?id=0MD...remias&f=false
Of course it is in German (is there any other language that intelligent discourse is conducted?). Too bad for these scholars that their works cannot be read by anyone outside of Europe. I can't believe that this hasn't been mentioned more. Surely the question of what Abba means is central to Christianity. It's over a hundred bucks. It is quite interesting though. |
