In the beginning blah blah blah................
God created adam & eve and

my question is, if God created adam and eve they had a babys i think

then how did they get grand kids? Did their kids had forbiden sex with each other?

But seriously: You know, I wondered about that when I was in the very literalist Church of Christ years ago. I never asked anyone however (maybe back then I didn't want add to my already growing doubts). I don't recall any fundy response to this problem.

JM: Well Kent Hovind said they (the men) had sex with their sisters because the gene pool was still near perfect after the fall and God had not yet forbade it. All this based on a literal reading of the KING JAMES version of course.

Of course, by that logic, there was a LOT one could do before God said "don't do X." Murder must've been kosher to?? That's pretty fucked up, but then again, why should we be surprised!

Don't forget Eve was also Adam's clone - so not only must they have had perfect genes - they would have had identical genes. Imagine that - the first woman a transexual

Nah, God just dropped the "Y" chromosome and doubled the "X" chromosome.

I have to say, it would be interesting to see an opposite-sex version of yourself. Weird for sure.

Well, God did personally intervene to stop anyone punishing Cain for Abel's murder...

Has anyone worked out what effect this would have on the gene pool now? I mean can you get from Cane and Able having children with their sister (s) ( are they named?) to our current gene pool? Do the creationists have to posit very fast micro evolution, especially with a bottle neck with Noah?
