One World Government
I've seen some reference to a "One World Government" preceding the Rapture in some christian fundimentalist literature. Does anyone know from where that idea comes?
Is it in the bible or is it a new thing? |

It's only in the director's cut, which is in limited distribution to select congregations...

I think it comes from Revelation 13:

Edit: Any help from the christians here would be helpful. I guess I can see where you get the government thing, but it's pretty vague. |

I welcome The Overlord. Greetings in the Antichrist's Name!
However, I do not know of any verses referring to a "one-world government". It's all been fitted to modern times so believers can keep their faith. |

No, Smohg, there isn't a "one world gov't" like we imagine it. Some Christians have taken to fanciful and anachronistic readings of the final book of the NT.

If it had two horns like a lamb does that mean it had no horns? Because although I don't live on a farm, I'm quite certain that lambs don't have horns. I believe that would be a wee bit rough on Mrs. Sheep's vagina.
