How do you know that they are not copies of the originals?

Of course. They are quite easy to translate. Even a Modern Greek speaker can make a fair stab at it. (In fact the Greek Orthodox think they are uniquely qualified to translate the NT. But then they would.)

Why thank you. You deserve to go sit in the corner for claiming that no one has claimed that the Bible is inerrant when you knew that many people have claimed that the Bible is inerrant.

By the way, there is no way that anyone can provide credible evidence that the copies that we have today are exactly the same as the originals except for scribal and copyist errors. That is especially true of the Old Testament. Inerrantists claim that the Bible is inerrant, but they cannot provide any credible evidence that such is the case.

Is God obligated to feed hungry people? If he isn't, why should he be obligated to provide Christians with inerrant texts? He didn't provide any texts at all for hundreds of millions of people who died without hearing the Gospel message.

I don't. I was hoping you might provide what you use.

Are they? Who has the originals?

Johnny the mind-reader. Why come here to ask questions?

There is.

What business is that of anyone else?

What does that matter?

I don't. I never said that they are not copies of the originals, but inerrantists claim that they are copies of the originals. I am content to agree that there is no reliable evidence either way. Will inerrantist make the same concession?

Do you believe that the Bible is inerrant except for scribal and copyists errors?

Can any Christian reasonably prove the the story of Adam and Eve in any form was in the originals?

Do you believe in intelligent design?

The autographs are probably well disintegrated by now.

Humor is the best approach, imo, when you feel you might not get an answer...

How about the copies of the originals then? Who copied them and when were they copied?

Why do you want to know?
